Design, engineering, tender, supervision and commissioning of a
new E-QCT an Enhanced Quick Chill Tunnel process and refur-
bishment of the Equalization rooms. The process was designed
for 280 pig carcasses/hour and was designed high considera-
tions to meat quality. The construction area was 1,360 m².

A new development of a pig carcass chilling process. A process that improves on a number of parameters:

• Effciency – a reduced process volume increases the air velocity around the carcasses.
• Improved energy consumption through optimization of the defrostning cycles. No dead air zones and double deck that reduce heat loss to the ambient.
• Improved cleanability – faster to clean with less usage of water and detergent.
• Improved service and safety for maintenance staff.
