Kekén planned a new state-of-the-art greenfield pig abattoir in Sahé, designed with a high level of automation, strong animal welfare standards, and the production of premium-quality pork for the Japanese market.

Intercool’s specialists were responsible for the design and engineering of the QCT process and Equalization system, including supervision during construction, commissioning, and performance testing. In addition, Intercool provided quality assurance of the overall process design and acted as a technical sparring partner to Kekén’s experienced design and operational teams.
